My car turns 15 today!

The build date on my car is March 10 which makes for 15 years today. At the end of this month I will have owned it for 6 years. Wow, time flies.
Over the past weekend, I started to think about getting it ready for the driving season. We have had a lot of rain in the last week and it has washed away much of the salt on the roads. Given that, it might be safe to take her out. I guess I should stop on the way home from work to get her a birthday present: some 10w30 and an FL-1A.

CONGRATS!! Man, you have a teenager!!
Pretty cool. I had not given it much though but our car was built on 4-29-93 so its bday is not here yet but that is my mothers birthday and my parents anniversary. Kind of neat. Take care and dont forget a new air filter. Chet

@Chet: Thanks for the reminder on the filter. I managed to change the oil yesterday. I usually like to do that before I put it away in the fall. I also usually like to leave the car on my ramps which I didn’t do this year. That meant I had to start it and get it on the ramps before I changed the oil. I didn’t want to start it until I had the clean oil in it. Oh, well.
