Thanks for all the Information

edited February 2005 in Feature Mustangs
I received the rims I ordered from NPD today thanks to this site. They are awesome to say the least.I also purchased from them the rear seat leather for my Red 92. Unbelievable that some one would still have it new in the package. I love this site. I have gained SO much information about my cars. Thanks again for all the information. I am interested to know if anyone is as nuts as me. I have painstakingly put all 3 of my cars back to original stock equipment, minus the 3.73 gears. Am I wasting my time? Is anyone modifying these cars, and if so, does this take away from value? Now that these are original, I would not modify, but if I get another one I might play around with it. Yes another, sounds crazy huh? I have had 5 in 2 years, and decided to keep one of each. My brother now has one of my white ones, and a close friend has my other Red 92. Very interested to know if anyone else has all 3, and how rare it actually is to own them all? Thanks again Mr. Jones.

Sorry for the delay in a response. Although, the great thing about this forum is that I am currently located in a different state from my home and I still can respond!

You're very welcome. I enjoy maintaining the site and sharing information. It is a great deal on the wheels (and other parts). It's amazing that someone would still have this quantity of parts in their warehouse.

The sale was narrowly advertised. I only saw the ad in Mustang Times. I am hoping my efforts resulted in a lot of wheel sales for them. I am considering emailing NPD in the near future to tell them that I got the word out and to see if they would be willing to keep me directly informed of future sales/feature car parts availability. As a community, we have the potential to generate a lot of sales for them (or anyone with feature car parts).

I can always count on you to be first whenever I add some new feature to my web site. Thanks for posting.
  • Hey thanks again for the heads up on nps and their specials. It figures I just finished restoring this yellow beast and some of the hardest parts to find on the secondary market were right at my fingertips for sale!!!. Please keep up the great work and update us as much as you can. P.S. the forum is the coolest. Thanks again. Sincerely Chet and crew.
