1993 feature Mustang

edited September 2009 in Feature Mustangs
I own a 1993 feature Mustang that I was thinking of selling. It is the yellow one with a white top and white leather int. It has 42000 original miles. It needs a new top and the interior is a bit worn but still cleans up nice. New tires new clutch. I have a possible buyer. Could someone offer advise on a fair price? Thanx Brian.

  • +1 on the pics. Unfortunately, a quality top and reupholstery job is going to set back the new owner no less than $2500. The white interior is the more rare of the two, but IMO does not add value due to its high maintenance. A key feature that I did not remember you listing, is it a 5-spd or auto. That makes all the difference in price. 5-spds will be valued higher.
  • Is the paint all original and in good shape? By "new clutch," I assume you mean it's a 5-speed, which is worth more.

  • Yes a 5-speed is worth alot more, also the 5-speed is much more rare. I would get the top replaced before you sell, you tend to get more for the car if you do that.
