Anyone have the part number for this door molding

edited April 2011 in Feature Mustangs
Some time ago I was taking the car cover off my car and somehow this molding got caught in it and it just flew out. I have the old part, which I may attempt to pix...but if I can find a new one it would be much better. I've tried searching different sites but the search is too broad...i figure having a part number will help.

Thanks in advance!

this is the molding, located near the passinger's side mirror:

This is what it looks like (this is the drivers mirror which is intact)

  • I have a set original Ford NOS. I don't want to split the set up but will sell for $40 shipped. If you want pics pm me your email and I will send them. They are unopened in the original Ford Bag. BTW new top looks great.
  • have you looked at late model resto website? They are pretty easy to find the right part.

    edit: is this it?

Yep, those are it but they appear to be for 'regular' stangs with black moldings. I guess i can have them painted but would much prefer moldings already with the right shade.
  • According to a parts list I have, the standard (non-feature) part numbers:
    Right - E8ZZ 6120934 B
    Left - E8ZZ 6120935 B

From what I know about part numbers, feature specific ones, if they existed, would have started with a prefix of F2ZZ and possibly had a suffix of AAE. Be careful, though, the trim part that goes next to that has a very similar part number of E8ZZ 6120934-5 AA.
  • The number on the LH side (driver) says 5400561e41 LH
  • Alert---I actually need the driver's side--can we split this?

Hey there, I emailed Tom about this and waiting for his reply. I'm gonna try to find out from the dealer if the molding is available from the factory in the factory vibrant red. That would be my preference, but I told Tom that if it's not possible I would pick up the moldings from him. If this is the case, me and you can work something out my friend.
  • Great!

I followed this thread as mine is loose--but went to look more closely and my plastic tab is gone--won't stay on now.--should have just left it alone :(
  • My drivers side is not seated down on door very well neither.
