Restoration Specialist for Fox Bodies

Anyone know a restoration company for Fox Body Mustangs?

  • Not anywhere near me, but The Fox Shoppe in the upper left coast is one of the premier fox body specialists.
  • What is so bad on your car that it needs a restoration specialist? It looks pretty nice in the pictures.

Door panels are a snap to replace (or remove and install). Carpet is easy, you just take everything out of the interior and pull the old carpet and install the new. The emergency brake handle bracket is the only thing that if I remember correctly has one 1/4" rivet holding it to the floor along with the bolts. Upholstery can be a challenge when hog rings are installed on parts of the covers but a lot of newer vehicles have plastic strips that slide over edges on the seats and interlock into each other on other parts of the seats. Mustang seats I have looked at have these plastic strips on them.

Paint, body work and top replacement is about all that is left, other than mechanics (if you don't work on your own vehicles).
