Body Molding Pieces

Has anyones discolored along the top edge? Other than painting is there any way to get this off? My poor yellow car has this brown discoloration on the top of the molding on the door. It almost lookes like dirt. I am thinking about getting my car painted anyway but this really bugs me!

    My Triple White, has a slightly discolored Top edge also.

    Remember, the moldings are held to the car with a super-strong wi-i-ide double-faced tape. It could be bleeding of the compounds in the adhesive on the tape discoloring the molding's rubbery material.
