I like it but what is up with the 2 black holes, brake duct cooling?

Watching the 90 crash test I found this link......my next used car!!!
Check out what this guy does to his Mustang......if you have a weak stomach I suggest not watching the abuse that poor horse takes.

HEY, when did they make a black feature!?!?!? That has to be very rare!!! John, better add another page dedicated to the black features (haha!)
-
Thought the exact same thing!!
You have to wonder how old that kit is, I bet it was applied back in the early 90's........now if I can just find one in fake carbon fiber for my feature how cool would I be!!in Tell me what is wrong with this picture! Comment by Cobra2top September 2008

I guess it is all in the wording. Dropping the "auto" still makes the statement correct but a little misleading. I read it as if there were 667 Yellow and black and the remaining 900 were yellow and whites.
John's numbers confirms what… -
I bought the last edition of this magazine at some airport. The writer of the mag had an article on his resent purchase of a 92 Feature with a couple of pics. If I dig it up I will scan it for the site.
Hate to say it but I think his l… -

Mine too......my passenger latch works fine, it is just the little spring behind the J hook is gone so I have to guide it in with my other hand to get it to latch. It's works but is a pain to reach both hands up to that pass… -
At last years Carlisle show there was a 92 Feature originally from Canada that did not have AC. Maybe that is the issue with that car. I remember the owner saying there are only a few without factory AC so it could be possible that car is ultra ra…

Welcome! Post up some pics!
The 90-93's with the airbag did not have tilt wheel. There is a button under the wheel that you have to push to release the key.
Good luck with the 92!! They are alot of fun and you will find a … -
I am reaching hear but since the car is from California, could those things in the engine compartment be moved around to meet CA's smog laws??
(ok...it's a stretch!) -
Definitely let's ask. It can not hurt and looking at last year and this year, we have the cars. If there is a feature class they should get more in attendance which is a good thing for them.
Also last year they had us in their program … -
John, thank-you for this weekend!! I really appreciate all of your effort in getting us all together to display our cars. It is pretty cool to be able to hang out with people with the same cars and interest. Not many Features built to begin with,…

I will be there sometime Friday. Looking forward to meeting with everyone again!

The armrest ones I think would not work well. I had a 95 Cobra and the SN95 body style had a cup holder that flipped out at the top of the armrest. I kept on hitting it each time I shifted and it was hard to reach as it is a little behind you.

I only have the white ball, not the stick but too would like to see the chrome handle on a feature. The ball originally felt too big but after a month I really like it. I dont think I could go back.

Ever since my first fox in 91 I just placed the soda can between the seat and brake handle. It actually fits just right for me especially with the 5 spd.
-
I like the white Hurst Shifter knob purchase!!!!

I remember watching that one. Nice with the 5 spd. Post up some pics when it is all cleaned up, it would be nice to see a before and after.
Also congrats on the baby and purchase! I was one of those had to get rid of the mustang when … -
Have the top shop check the weather stripping. I thought I needed to get new westher stripping too because the strip at the header was not contacting the top of the windshield and water would get in easily when I washed it.
The top guy … -
I recommend having a shop do it. I just got mine done and it was cold so the shop said to wait a week for the top to stretch. Regardless, if the top is leaking I would replace it ASAP. Water can get in the car and could cause rust if you do not g…

Congrats on your quick pay back. It is rare to find such great customer service.

I would suggest calling them to get a accurate quote. They have different options. One was both front seats with vinyl rear and then there is a additional charge if you want leather in the rear. If you check ebay right now… -
Along those line of John's email above, I asked Ron to send me some close ups of his seats so we can see the pattern of the grain. Looks alot like Laurel Mt. The one difference he stated was the thickness. When you buy your own hide, you can choo…

I hear you on the sliver!!!!! I too got one and commented on it today. I can tell the color matches but you really have to look at it to get the grain.

I called Laurel Mountain Mustang today. I spoke with Lou, a real good guy and very knowlegable. He replaced his seats on his Fox so he has a working knowledge of how these covers work.
I asked him about the grain pattern and he sent me… -
I went out to check my 92 and the leather does not really have a pattern to it. My question is how does the vinyl parts to the new seats look? Similar pattern to the leather?
When I look at my swatches, even though they are vinyl, they… -
Check with Laurel Mountain Mustang. They use TMI as their manufacturer. I will call them tomorrow and ask about the grain on the leather and let you know what they say.

I am right now looking at the same thing for my 92. I am working with Laurel Mt. Mustang and they use a company TMI. The swatch they sent me is vinyl, they could not send me any leather. The color is correct but now that I see yours with the gra…
