I think I'd go this route instead:

LOL, I had a dream about mine last week. Instead of locked up in a storage unit (reality), I had left it in downtown Kansas City under a tarp. When I went to look at it, I saw the hood had been crowbarred open and the engine stolen. The rest had…

I'll try to get to the storage unit sometime and will let you know. Only 20 degrees today

(Quote) Mine don't have any lettering on them. In storage right now, so can't check a part number. Here's a pic

I haven't seen them for sale. Maybe National Parts Depot?
I have the factory ones. I like em. Not everyone does though. If I drove my 92 through the grime I guess I could tell you how well they workin Mud/splash guards Comment by gokstate74 February 2012

That video is great--looks like a fun time. That's my kind of car show--cruising through the ozarks--I believe you. I bet the scenery is awesome. Time to try to convince the wife/kids.

Grundy has agreed on value with no mileage restriction--there is an informal agreement that the car is not a DD, and it has to be garaged. I've heard of people being turned down from them if there DD is too old/deemed unreliable. … -

How much money is all of this worth? 800 for h-pipe, 2000 for catback, plus shipping and install? Seems like a lot for judging. I've never been to a MCA judging event, but what's the point? A gold award won't bring back the cos… -
I know some have replaced the seats but left the headrests alone since they tend not to wear. However, matching grains isn't perfect--someone who has done it needs to comment. My gut instinct is that few people would notice or care.

Mine came from florida originally.....but moved to Kansas about 12 years ago.

Nice find. I wouldn't say 17 is out of the ballpark. He says "negotiable." If it's not worth at least 15, then we're just holding onto our cars for nostalgia purposes. I'd like to think my original 92 with 47k miles is worth around 10-11--not su…

Noac sold me two extras last year. PM me if still looking.

I remember watching the auction on that TY go to zero the first time and thinking somebody got a great deal for about 11-12 on the final price. It's too bad it went to someone who was just trying to flip it and not an enthusiast.

The floor mats and exhaust have been replaced too.

Welcome! Where are you located?

Am I mistaken or is your yellow feature lowered? Doesn't look to be stock height in the picture. -
Interesting--so perhaps that number of total lx 5.0 manuals that year? I get it.

(Quote) I'd be putting my order in if I could make sense of the engine/transmission code numbers.

1,722 with these engine/trans codes? 5spd manual trans? That doesn't make sense.
That being said. I like it! -
I wouldn't feel too badly--they made a million of those suckers. I'm sure there will be plenty of survivors now. Those that are currently in good shape are being well treated and a lot of people are starting to restore them.
-
Definitely--please post a photo of them--I'd really like to see this.

Welcome and nice job saving it!

Sounds like a fun challenge. Go for it!

My center caps don't quite appear the same shade as the wheel, so I wonder about matching to the cap.

What a bummer--I was loving that site search. Too bad craigs doesn't put more effort into improving the search. I'd like to argue that for rare items--people need that kind of search function. Bunch of San Fran tree huggers. -

Thanks for sharing. I saw some of that stuff at walmart the other day--will have to try sometime. -
As a fearless leader does, thanks again for going ahead of us to show the way.
