This is done by taking a regular screwdriver and pressing in the plastic clips while pushing the assembly out the front of the bezel.

Ford manuals are always the way to go and they are on Ebay all the time and cheap. Both the other manuals you mentioned are OK but don't forget the Ford manual were written by Ford engineers not some guy in Taiwan.
