Try clearing your browser cache. The add does currently say $10,500.
It did say 17.5 when I first looked at it but it's apparently been lowered. Either that or there is something very wrong with CL. -
....at that price someone will get it before the weekend is out.
-
That's what I thought but when I go look at the add right now...
Only 10,900 original miles!!!
$10,500 OBO - Serious inquiries only
Call Roy (314).... -
Did the price drop? I recall it being a lot more the first time I looked at it. $10.5k is a steal if this car is the real thing.
-
Car now is at a dealership in Wichita Falls.

The guy I was talking to says he got $5500… -
I think the judging was very fair. They did overlook things that I personally would have counted off for. Did not notice the water spots on the mirrors till after the fact.
Anyway it looks like I will be be going to the show in Beaumon… -
Got answer back from a very reliable source:
Bill, I own several ultra low mileage fox bodys, and i can tell you that the pos cable never had a rubber boot for the feature cars or the 93 cobras, the svo and the 86 5.0 lx or gt had rubb… -
If someone buys the wheels I've got an extra set of NOS center caps for them.
-
Very nice. If that car is the real deal w/ low miles that is a bargain. Very tempting.
-
Concourse driven. I am waiting for my sheet form the MCA.
-
Looking over my pics I see that it was not the judges 92 car that had the pos bat cable boot. It was on a YB 93 in unrestored. I still think it's an extraneous bit.
According to my owners manual the correct battery is a BX58C. I do no… -
A national show is very humbling. I thought my car was pretty special until I saw some of the other cars in attendance.
In any case I did get a Gold. -
Seller has corrected his add.
-
Interesting turn of events, I went back by the same car later to talk to the judge and the pos terminal boot was gone.
-
LOL. Now he is advertising that his car is #1058 of 1500. That's funny because MY car is #1058. I showed him what my info from Terry M looked like and now he is using that to try to sell his car.

Ended up passing on this one. Too many questions w/o satisfying answers.
Got verification that no cars came from the factory w/ white handles but this guy sticks to his guns that they are a factory option.
His VIN indicates … -
Someone had asked for a pic comparing the NOS bezel, an old yellowed on and the rear quarter panel.
Here you go -
I'm still considering it. I found I can fly into WF for under $100.
The salvage title appears to be related to a theft but it's unclear how much damage had to be fixed. It looks like it may have at least gotten an new top. -
Yep, the freedom to ask whatever one wants and the fredom to LOL about it.
-
LOL. $20k for YB with 50k miles. What are they smoking up there in BC?
-
Catalytic converters pluged up.

I've not ever seen those before. I have seen an X on the air box and on the gas tank however.

Okay, I must have been blind. The hood tag is on the right side near the hinge. The decklid tag is near the tag lights. I'm guessing that the door tags are on the underside of the doors but did not feel like getting on my back to check.
Correction: E7UA would be 87 Econoline truck.
E= 1980s
7= 1987
U= Econoline
A= Light Truck engineering
Still probably is the factory belt. Cool plumb. For unrestored showing that's a big plus.Interesting. E7V would be an 87 Lincon. Still in the correct time frame and size. If it's the original that came with the car it was probably a case of what the factory had on hand on that day. They may have run short of F3Z parts.We are thinking about going. Since my dad lives in Daytona we can visit and stay there and then drive over for the show. I don't really want to put those miles on the car for nothing so I think I will wait and see how I do at the GN show this year…Ended up having to take off the bumper and tweak the frame a bit. Now all the hood and headlight gaps are just right. The rubber around the passenger headlight could still fit better but it's a far sight better than it was. Hopefully no more crac…
