Introduction

I often get questions along the lines of how many feature Mustangs are left. I have no idea! As far as I know there is no other registry specifically for the 1992 Feature Mustangs but there is a registry that covers all of the early 90's limited editions. The intent of this is not to compete with that registry (you should also consider registering with the other one because it can provide you with some important details on your car). But, since that registry has no online presence, information it has collected is not readily available. My intent is to collect and publish information to keep us all informed.

Terry McCoy runs a registry for the following cars:

Terry is the only person that I know of who has data on all of the Limited Edition Feature cars. In fact, when I was in contact with a fellow feature Mustang owner inside of Ford, after several weeks of working his way through the corporation, he was referred to Terry. Also, when Miles Cook wrote the April 2004 Mustang Monthly article on the Feature cars he called Terry to verify the build numbers.

I have joined his Limited Edition Feature Car Mustang Registry which covers the 1990, 1992 and 1993 cars. For a $25 fee, Terry will tell you the following about your car:

• Build date
• How many cars like yours were built on your build date.
• What number your car was out of the similar cars built on your build date.
• Total number cars built with your color/transmission combination.
• And, most importantly, what number your car is of the 1500 White or 1503 Yellow cars made.

The process works as follows. When you contact Terry he will ask for your mailing address. He will then mail you the registration form. You fill it out, return it and Terry will send you a writeup on your car. It's nice enough to display at shows!
