Mustang Times – January 1999

The January 1999 issue of Mustang Times was a big one for 1993 Feature Cars. The cover featured a 1993 Saleen SC convertible that started out as a feature car. It is one of only five Saleen SC Mustangs produced in 1993.

Another article in this issue was an article titled "White Hot & Hardly Mellow Yellow.". It is two pages in length and in black and white. It contains the usual facts and figures on the feature cars. It mentions that the first public appearance of the Canary Yellow Feature car was January 14, 1993 at Cobo Hall Center in Detroit, Michigan. It also mentions the extensive R&D process used to create the chrome wheel. The wheel was progressive for its time and the yellow feature Mustang was the first car to be equipped with an all chrome wheel.
