Door lock cover color

Hi!

I have a 93 TWF and am considering replacing my lockset (they're pretty beat-up)... What was the correct original color???

1. Black outer ring with a brushed finish inner ring?

or

2. All black (including where the key goes in, aka "Special Service")?
