Clean Aluminum "5.0 H.O." Intake Cover
Hey guys (and gals!),
Really appreciate all that I've learned here in the TWF forums!!!
I have started detailing the engine bay on my 93 TWF and was wondering how everyone cleaned the aluminum "5.0 H.O." intake cover. I've cleaned it with Dawn but it is still fairly dirty and seems to have a little blackish stuff in the "grain" of the brushed aluminum...
Any suggestions???
Thanks again!
Anton

" Engine brite"......... I thought it worked good!
I had already tried an engine degreaser, but it just doesn't seem to get it totally clean... It's not oxidized, so I really don't know how else to tackle it. I really want to avoid using a scotch brite pad or anyting too harsh in fear of scratching it...
Anynyone else have any ideas???
Thanks again!
