Yellow Production Interior Color Question

I was just looking at the ebay Features and the car with 14K miles, the statement in the description is:

"This Special Edition LX “Feature Car” is #928 of only 1,503 produced in Canary Yellow and 1 of 667 w/black top/interior"

Can this be accurate that more yellows were white top and interiors? All i really ever see is Black and yellow. Every now and then I will run across a white and yellow.

Just curious!

    1 of 667 is correct but it would be one of 667 Yellow/Black with an automatic. The rest of the 1503 breaks down as:

    452 Yellow/Black with manual
    271 Yellow/White with auto
    113 Yellow/White with manual

    I guess it is all in the wording. Dropping the "auto" still makes the statement correct but a little misleading. I read it as if there were 667 Yellow and black and the remaining 900 were yellow and whites.

    John's numbers confirms what I have seen that the yellow and white is the rarer version.
