trying to decipher some info on my car...

I have a 93 reef blue hatch. This car was purchsed in Gulfport by a good friend 2 yrs ago. When we got the car back and started the engine swap, I noticed that "#1 9-01-92" was painted in front of the radiatior on the paint. The manufacture date on the door sticker says 08-92. How would I find out if this was possibly the 1st reef blue to come off the assembly line in Deerborne MI that year? I've been able to pull up the general info on the car and do know that it was #5737 off the line that month. Since Ford only did this color 1 yr, I would like to know if it was the 1st one. Sorry for the long post and any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated !!

As far a finding out if yours was the first, very likely you will have to wait for Marti Autoworks to release their fox Mustang information this spring, https://www.martiauto.com/secure/vinreports.cfm.

Hey, thanks a bunch for that info. I didn't even think of that. I called Ford in Deerborne MI and although it may not help with this it's still pretty cool to have, they're going to send me a copy of the original build sheet for my mustang. Thanks again
