My Feature Car's second life

edited October 2009 in Feature Mustangs
Toying with the idea of going a different direction with my car during the rebuild. I've done the stock thing, but want a little more pizazz the next go round. Here's what I am thinking: Starting w/ yellow/black auto. All original down to the plug wires, but 163K miles. I have the opportunity to purchase a well built '93 Saleen clone for cheap. Has the authentic ground effects, Racecraft suspension, SVO style 5-lug brakes and a 5-speed. Plumbing is there for a supercharger, but no equipment. Take from the clone and bolt everything on my Feature to produce a clone of SC-01. I normally don't like clones, but I will never own the one and only SC. I will have to change the look a bit, as the SA-10 hood is unobtainable. So, I may build a standard supercharged Saleen clone. I can save all of the original components to return it back to stock, if desired later. Opinions please.

  • That would be one sharp ride. I remember reading about that car in Mustang Times. Neat recreation idea.
