92 Inner fender/fire wall paint

Has anyone noticed a color difference in the engine bay ( fender/fire wall ) than the rest of the car? Mine seems to be a darker red than the rest of the car.. I'm pretty sure its original,and has never been repainted.. Is this the way it came from ford?

    My 93, has a slightly different shade of White

    Same thing on my 7-Up. I always attributed it to the fact that the paint on the body was clearcoated, and the engine bay was not.

    YES, The red is different !Mine(92) Feature is that way, my buddies,, unrestored (92) Feature is also a different shade of red!
