Is the last 4 #'s in the VIN # the serial number for the car?

    The last 6 of the VIN are the sequence number among all Mustangs manufactured in your model year. Numbering started at 100001.

    Feature cars were not issued serial numbers, like 2008 Bullitts. You may be able to find your build sequence number, though.

    My last 6 is: 151500, So mine would have been #51500 of the production line?

    Not necessarily. That number is the sequence that it was inputted into the order line. It does not mean that it was produced exact order, but would be close.
