Paint imperfections

Has anyone noticed any imperfections in their (FACTORY) paint?

Comments

  • Absolutely. A run or two on lower doors and drips/buildup on door edges. I'm pretty sure mine is all factory paint and when I showed my imperfections to Terry McCoy, he thought they could have all came from the factory.
  • My feature has been resprayed so it looks pretty good but we have an original paint 93 GT and it's amazing how many "issues" there are with it from thin areas to runs as John has said his car has. I to have had a gold card MCA judge tell me he thought they were factory imperfections. The cars still rock though! Take care.
  • You would think, RUNS in a (FACTORY) paint job would never pass through inspection.
  • Has anyone noticed on their triple WHITE's A- pillar moldings/quarter panel moldings - (around base of top) Canary Yellow paint underneath the FACTORY WHITE PAINT. Example: a couple of small rock chips here and there revealing Yellow paint beneath. Again car has original paint.
