million-mile odometer?

Any one ever seen a 93 with an odometer that goes to a million miles? I was looking over Craigs List and found this add:

I went out to look at his photobucket pics and found a pic of his odometer and it does in fact have 6 digits + tenths.

strange. In 94 they did goto a million mile odometers so maybe this is a very late 93?

My brother in laws car has one. And a fellow feature owner in our club also does. His car came from New York and was required to have one. Cool option. Its on the window sticker as well.
