Passengers window problem [Solved]
I have had a problem with my passengers side window for some time. It opens/closes when using the master switch on the driver's side. The problem is that the switch on the passengers side does not operate the window.
After swapping the switch (which didn't fix the problem) I found that the 12V power supply to the switch is showing no voltage. This is the center terminal for those familiar with the switch. The power supply to the door lock switch is working. As one last test, I jumped the 12V from the door lock power supply to the window switch and the switch was then able to operate the window. It appears to be a break in the circuit suppling the switch with power that is the fault. Damn.
It seems like I have eliminated all of the usual suspects (fuse, switch, motor). Any thoughts on tracking this further back to a possible source for the problem?
Edit: I found the problem. It was a little button on the drivers side labeled "Lock".
