Time for a new top, maybe.

Ok folks, Im at a bit of a decision point. The top on my car needs to be replaced and the paint is a bit worn. I'm not sure which to take care of, first.

The paint is faded on the passenger side and top of the car but I think it's got enough meat left to get buffed out. There's also a couple of dents that need to be taken care of, too.

So... new top or get the bodywork sorted out first?

Also, what color are the tops on the 92s? Bright white or oxford white?

  • oxford white, I believe. I'd go top first.
  • I 2nd the top replacement next.
  • third on the top replacement first....u don't want stuff leaking inside the car. PS, i do believe the oxford is the "off white" version which is correct for the 92 vibrant red cars. I know there is also a bright white version which is correct for the 93's I think.
