  • OK I am now SICK!! I was just watching ABC world news tonight and the lead story was on the cash for clunkers. They were pouring in a chemical called clunker bomb in what looked like a very nice Explorer Sport, it had to be a early 2000 model. Gu…
  • I wonder if right before you traded it in if you totally stripped the car. Take everything out except just enough to make it into the dealer's parking lot. Would they have to give you the max that you qualify for?
  • Agreed. I was reading up on ithe clunker program on another forum and the dealer must take out the tranny and engine. He can sell the body for parts. If they try and sell it whole after it is turned in, I read that they will be find $15K. So if …
  • It's a pretty common problem. My 92 has the same thing and the previous owner tried to paint it and it only made it worst. I think this winter when top down weather is over here in the northeast I am going to have them painted correctly
  • Wow, really rare. Interestingly there was a 93 yellow for sale here in NJ but the previous owner put on a Saleen wing on the back which was a turn off for me, even though the price was right. Too bad I did not see this sooner I could have put it t…
  • How about making a hardtop/convertible. I had a 95 Cobra convertible with the hardtop option. It was pretty cool to put the top on and have the full security of the hardtop. It came with a stand (like a Mercedes SL) that hold the top in my garage…
  • It would probably easier and less costly to just buy a emeral green coupe and add the white interior and rims. Only issue I see is that if it has to be a original 90, per my Recognition Guide, there were only 6 coupes (notchbacks) in emeral green t…

I had the Borlas on my 89 GT vert years ago. The best sound for sure and agree, the tail pipes are silly looking. On my 89, back in the early 90's I bought just the mufflers and those cost me $500. It was a ton of money but was …

  • I have Magnaflows with 3" chrome tips that IMO look great. Nothing against the stock tips, but they look too small for my taste. The 3" tips fill out the rear of the car pretty well.

  • Ifo you are trying to find out what radio came in your car, at least for the 92, I found mine listed on the letter I gor from Ford telling me the options originally on my car. It is listed somewhere on here how to contact Ford for the letter. It's …
  • Interesting on the warranty thing. I do remember seeing the yellow features in the argent rims. Now it makes sense why I saw that way back when.

As for the rims, I am going to see if I can clean them up. I have been searching the web …

Well, I got the rims They are a little rough, one rim has some nice bubbling of chrome on one of the spokes by the rims edge and the others are just Ok. One has a little pitting again within the spokes and the last 2 actuall…

Thanks for the information. I am looking at a set and if they check out and are pretty clean I am going to buy them, if anything for the tires on the wheels. They guy wants $200 for the set.....I'm thinking a great price if they …
  • Classic Design Concepts I beleive is one of the original manufacture of the light bar.

For it in white I think you may have to have a shop recover it in white or look to possible interior paint??

Thanks....I did not make sense but thought I better ask. I am looking at a set locally tonight and the owner claims they are off a 93 feature. I want to make sure they are real. Was there different part numbers for the ones on t…
  • Nice, it worked!

Sorry all, I need to get a answer on this pretty quick and with no reply's I wanted this up at the most active for all to see.
  • Oh well, it did not work. There must be more active post (let's see if this brings it up!)
  • I thought I cheat and bring this one up to the most read place on the site to get more exposure. I sometimes forget to look at the Forum listings and miss quite a few messages that have zero reply's.
  • Ryan, the leather does stink on these. I just had my leathers replaced and the new although look factory correct are so much thicker feeling, it really is night and day. Maybe the cows in 2009 are fatter then they were in 1992!!!!!
  • Looks a little rough to me but the pics are not great. I would ask him to send you more pics of the interior and the top. Both are pretty expensive to get sorted properly. Also the rims are toast if they are the 92's painted black. Not sure if y…
  • He mentioned a guy trailered it off. Not sure what he was going to do with it but it did not go to a junk yard.
  • I think Tim ended up selling the car after it was picked over. I ended up getting a few pieces for my feature and then i believe it was sold.

Not sure if he is on here as he bought a notchback in it's place.
  • How many are going from this group? Also can you add the link to the show? I am thinking about this one. LONG drive but have friends in the Columbus area.....could potentially pull this one off, just the miles......
  • Great price!!!! If I saw this sooner I might have been interested to buy for a hold over instead of the full out full replacement which I just did.

Does the power lumbar work on both seats? Also power drivers work?
  • Did they make a white one? I can not remember seeing a white center console....am I mistaken?
  • (Quote) In the end all total with taxes was $1300. As metioned before the kits on line are around $800 then the foam is $120 per seat. This does not include the $100 shipping fee for it all. So for the $200 for them to professionally install in …
  • Thanks. I am sure they make them in black. I would search to see what they have.

I could also get you in touch with my guy. He maybe could order them for you or get you in contact with them.
  • Well I got the car back this afternoon and I could not be happier! It's amazing to ride in new seats. I am shocked how "flat" the old foam was. I guess 17 years will do that!

The manufacturer of my seat covers is Autocraft Interiors o…
  • Thought I would bring this one up again as today I dropped my 92 off for replacement seat covers. All I can say is I am already happy!

The owner Sam at my shop and I have talked in the past about the piping issue. I mentioned to him ab…

AWESOME! Let me know what I can donate to the tent fees. To be honest, the tent is really "key" for a weekend at the show. It offers a place to park in the shade and also gives our club a more upscale look if that makes sen…
