Depending on your state's requirements, you may be able to put it in the windshield and still be legal. That is how one of my SSP's is set up for Texas. I would suggest suction cups though, as it rattles a lot without them. I hated it at first, b…

Sold before the next day. I missed it.

+1 Great idea! That would be a show stopper.

It is your car to do whatever, but be absolutely sure that you will like it. It will be in your garage for a long time, as potential buyers will be scarce. The majority of the Mustang world does not even know what a 7-up convertible is. A coupe w…

You did an offroad pipe and header and still have the stock mufflers? [8-}] Borla, by far, sounds the best. The exhaust cooler tips look like crap, so you will have to put different tailpipes. Expensive, but well worth it.

I have heard that before, but have never owned a white top/interior.

If it were me, I would wait for a set on ebay. They come up often enough. I don't know how accurate the LRS panels are. A lot of the early repop parts are no where close to OEM in design or quality. Same thing happened with the 64-73's in the 80…

That looks terrific!!! I wonder if that manufacturer also makes the black. I like the idea of the double stitching, if I am going to spend that much money.

I wish that I had some time off from work. That show has been on my radar for a long time. Have fun and take lots of pics for us. There is always an important unveiling at that show.
-
I wonder what is so wrong with it. Doesn't look that bad to me.
-
That is an excellent price. I have been eying them up myself.

Unfortunately, we have all heard the " I'll restore it one day " bit. Too bad he won't sell the rare parts to help cars that will be restored. Most likely, it will rot right there where it sits. Keep checking back with him, though, as you may cat…

I am a member of both forums, as I own 2 FHP Mustangs and there is a wealth of knowledge at each regarding wiring up lightbars, radios, etc. Check your state laws closely regarding the use of police related accessories. There will be laws against …

Nice car to toy around with. IMO, do with it what you want. I do not think the Vermillion color will make it any more desirable, but I may be wrong. Typically, what was not popular then will not be popular in the future. Second, it's an automati…

If you are going to go Saleen, you have to do the wing. The feature car wing would look out of place and silly.
Full Saleen kit ( using the correct style for your year ), white leather Recaros, white roll bar and white Speedlines. Swit… -
You have to go back to 1992 to answer that question. That year, Saleen was struggling to survive and only built 17 cars. I have not seen any evidence of 1 of those 17 being a Feature Car, but also have not seen pics of all 17 cars. So, anything i…

+1 on it being a real Feature Car. I saw it too, many years ago at a Saleen National show in Biloxi, MS. Beautiful car. Little know fact about '93 Saleens, there were 2 non-SC Feature Cars built as well. I have not turned up pics of either yet, …

Anything is possible. I have not seen too many 127,000 mile cars that still have the decals on the airbox. I would definitely pull a Carfax on it, as Florida keeps pretty good inspection data.

Never assume that a moldy interior is the result of flood. My feature car sat in my carport in Baton Rouge, LA completely shielded from rain and had mold growing on the seat covers from the humidity. Never underestimate what the humid air can do t…

The Eagle HP's are the closest match to the original tread pattern of what is offered right now and what most people I know are using. Biggest downside is the "H" speed rating, much harder tire compound than I prefer. It all depends on your usage …

Not to steal REEF's thread, but a pic of my FHP.

Typically, it would be Kelsey to reproduce Goodyear tires. But, there are no plans in the near future for Gatorbacks. Those in the SSP community have been after 15" for a while, but still not enough demand. Flood them with emails.
-
Welcome to the site! I, too, am a big fan of the reef blue Mustangs. I am a bit biased, though, as I own one of the very few unmarked Florida Highway Patrol SSP's in that color.

As far a finding out if yours was the first, very likely you will have to wait for Marti Autoworks to release their fox Mustang information this spring, https://www.martiauto.c…

I am glad that there is a source now for those who have had theirs stolen or removed over time. Being a glass half empty person, I see this as a way to flood the market with what was a rare part. Now you potentially will see pony headrests in any …

I have a bunch, but let me make sure that I can put my hand on them after I moved. All have the full yellow pony, not the yellow outline that my car came with.

Floormats went with the old carpet. They were pictured on top of the carpet, so they may have gone un-noticed. -
Baton Rouge, La, soon to be The Woodlands, TX.

I conceed that the car would be a tremendous amount of work. And, parting it will probably be the best fate in relation to other feature cars missing the needed parts. I will get some pics soon. Everything is there, but the car has seen better da…
