Not anywhere near me, but The Fox Shoppe in the upper left coast is one of the premier fox body specialists.

I got mine from Performance Autosport, one of the magazine sponsors and content producers. I think it is well worth subscribing to, but agree that I was more cars and a wide variety of car treatment.

Great suggestion with the automatic mods. Everyone always suggests the wide ratio kits, but that seems more involved. Next year will be a good year for an old friend. I think a lot of the paint will buff out nice. The factory yellow paint is pre…

Sucky automatic, but I was not going to be choosy back in the day. The dealership had 2 in February of 1995, 1 white and 1 black. Both used as Mardi Gras parade cars for the debutantes. I used to drool over them, thinking I would never own one. …

But, the Ford version does not supply you the ability to get reproduction door stickers, for the cars that have been in accidents. Post it up, we all want to see.

Nice find! I will be watching tomorrow morning. Mine eats CD's.
-
Love the DECH package. They never received enough recognition.

I live under the same regard. Roll that odometer over and drive it into the ground. Rebuild it and do it all over again. You do not create memories dusting it off in the garage. Oh, I forgot, you do. Your California Duster is so much more enjoy…

A 5-speed to boot, very nice.

A new license plate.

It was a no charge option on top of the feature car package. Pretty much a matter of preference for the person ordering the car. Mine came originally with Michelins.

Mine has always leaked, too. Never could figure out where the water came from. Fortunately, even with all of the rain in Louisiana, it never rusted. I do need a replacement trunk board, though.

I understand you wanting the safest possible install for your child, but older cars usually only utilized the seat belt run through the plastic frame of the safety seat. Upon a collision or sudden change in movement, the seat belts retract, providi…

Ray, your car is beautiful. I got to know it well when Roman owned it. Mustang Monthly was going to do a photo shoot with it, but the photographer was too late arriving and the owner had to head home.
-
Very fair pricing, too.

IIRC, Ford recommends the same thing, but no one ever listens, including myself.
-
Judging from the condition of the car, they likely need refinishing.

Mine won't give the CD back, but plays them fine. -
IIRC, it added around $600. Very expensive for the time.
-
Many people do not realize how much more expensive the Feature Cars were than a Cobra of the same year. Your looking at 20% more. Mine stickered ever higher with the cd player.
-
Bought mine in spring of '98.

A good detailing. I have not seen my whole car in 2 years. It is buried in storage. -

If they were the open pony design, I may consider spending that kind of money. -
Never factory equipped. Those were installed by the agency that outfitted the cars.
-
If you don't mind the slightly lower ride, but a similar ride quality, purchase a set of Bullitt/Mach 1 springs. Work great with the right stance.

The same option that makes this car valuable is the same thing that makes it less valuable. SSP collectors want in-service history records. They want a car that has history and normally a lot of miles to go along with the documented history. A wr…

A friend of mine recently sold a 25k mile 5 speed for around $12k or so. It is true that prices are all over the place. Remember the member here that could not sell his ultra low mileage '93 for $14k and ended up keeping it.

20W-50. I have a lot of miles on mine.

You may want to check the door striker. It is possible the bushing has fallen off or it may need slight adjusting to get your door to fit tighter. Other than that, you window mechanism may be moving within the door shell. PITA to get to though. …
