Too far for me, but the Texas Mile is coming up in late October. Nothing like watching and hearing exotics run 200+ mph.

Sold price 9/23/10.

Very nice white feature car. Hope the owner comes close to the asking price, but not likely in this market.
Yes, any feature car, or '92 Mustang in general, w/o a/c is rare. Rare does not mean more desirable, though. The old adage of … -
Those match my original mats exactly. I have never seen a set available, so finding replacements will be extremely difficult. I purchased a slew of the yellow mats years ago, with none matching what I have. When my car returns to show condition, …

New to me. Maybe custom made to match the fuzzy dice.

Most of the hard to find items are still there, minus the front seats. They can be custom fabbed, though. I would need to see what was hiding behind the replacement panels, did the airbag deploy?, and is the buck tag still in place?
-
When cross referencing car colors in relation to options, there are many "low" production cars. Low numbers do not always equal greater desirability, though. What was not popular then, likely will not be popular now. There are some exceptions to …

This is why Ford never called a Feature Car "triple white." This website coined the term, not Ford. Many cars, from old-school VW Beetle verts to 60's era Goats, used the terms triple white or triple black. It is by no means exclusive to our belo…

Post a pic of your seats. It is possible that the original seats were damaged or stolen in the 3 years prior to your ownership. The embroidered headrests were a popular feature for thieves back then.
-
I hope they get their price. Good for all of us.
-
Can't wait to see pics.

Good observation. It just goes to show that the public is beginning to care less and less about scoring points on a trailer queen and focusing on enjoying the experience of ownership. There are too many no mile cars out there to compete with a res…

MCA hosts their own anniversary shows separate from the Mustang's anniversary. The first Barber show was an MCA Anniversary, not Mustang. They have hosted at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Atlanta Dragway, and Barber Motorsport Park. All great venues an…

If it is just the glass portion, you can zipper it out and replace it with one from Texas Mustang Parts for around $200. That's what I did when mine had a meltdown years ago. My original top is still on the car, 17 years later, and is still in goo…

The old phrase "Good things come to those who wait" applies here. Focus on a major show for next year to unveil your car. Being 2011, MCA should be putting on a large anniversary show somewhere.
-
My car came with the yellow outlined pony, as well. I have been seeking out proper replacement mats for 10 years, with no luck. There were 3 versions of the mats, but I have not many others with the yellow outlined mats.

Mudflaps must be a northern thing. There is nothing that takes the sport out of a sports car more than something that only belongs on a truck. Well, the stainless steel vent visors on my FHP Mustang have the same effect. But that was how FHP outf…

Not necessarily. That number is the sequence that it was inputted into the order line. It does not mean that it was produced exact order, but would be close.
-
Good looking vert! I love how that shade of red glows when the sun hits it just right.
-
Feature cars were not issued serial numbers, like 2008 Bullitts. You may be able to find your build sequence number, though.

They come available on Houston's Craigslist all the time. I will keep my eyes open. Look into these. http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/1679966006.html You will have t…

The most important thing is that you were not seriously hurt. That means your car did its job. Anything on a fox body can be fixed. Just be glad the you were not rear-ended and the spoiler damaged. One piece of advice, try to have the body shop …

Which pony do they have? Yellow w/ yellow inset, Yellow w/ black inset, or black w/ black inset. If yellow w/ black, please email pics to <!-- e --><a href="mailto:gulfcoastgreen@yahoo.com">gulfcoastgreen@yahoo.com</a><!-- e -…

He hasn't had the yellow wheels on the Saleen for some time now. The 3-piece Sterns are coveted in the Saleen world.
-
That seems to be a very fair value that they have placed on the '92's, considering how undervalued they have Saleens. The '90's have been listed for some time now, longer than 2 years, and have always had fairly strong values.
-
You all need to move south. 70 and sunny yesterday. You can take your car out whenever you want.
-
Welcome to the site and congratulations on finding what appears to be a very clean '92. Sad that a death brought you to the car. But I would imagine that it's former owner would want it in caring hands.
-
The yellow paint on our cars was applied much thicker than most factory paints to achieve the proper color. If there was any factory paint that could take it, Canary yellow can.

The day the MCA makes you pull out your back seat to check your pump, I'm out.

I had worked for a diesel injection company years ago when the Powerstroke was fairly new. I remember many occurances that the injectors would come in with damage from standard diesel oils. Very expensive mistake for the owners.
