Tough call--- if there are any of the OEM Michelin XGT tires that layed in a warehouse they would be close to being dry rotted.

Welcome-- those are beautiful cars. 5 speeds are extremely hard to find. I remember the first time I saw a 7 UP car I thought the factory accidentally put on the GT turbine wheels instead of the standard LX 10 hole wheels.

Check your inline fuse & power supply connection to the unit. Use a test light to see if you are getting power to the unit.
The inline fuse should be located near the changer in the trunk or near where the power supply was tapped to… -

There are decent aftermarket tops for the fox bodied 5.0's. Just make sure you are not getting one with a plastic back window. From what I remember the top shop had 3-4 different grades of top for this car.
