Congratulations. What a great and rare find.

If you are into functional vs OEM, use a piece of copper water pipe to replace the grey bushing. Lasts a lot longer and takes up the slack on the door strike post.

Interesting topic on the triple white & triple black cars that are not features. Agree they are extremely rare. About 6 months ago there was a 5 spd triple black 93 LX on Houston craigslist. I believe the ad mentioned it was one of 200.

Just in time for Valentine's Day!
Very good condition, needs minor interior work. Small scratch on front bumper cover. Could use a set of new tires. Small crack in windshield. Engine is super quiet, can't even hear it run. -
no need to drill a hole in the firewall....the holes are already there from the factory on both auto and 5 speed cars. The speedometer cable on the automatics is currently going through where the clutch cable is routed on the 5 speeds.

Everything mounts up-- the cross member hole slots need to be drilled out an additional 1/4" for the transmission tail housing mount to fit.
The drive shaft does not need to be changed out, the automatics have a balancer near the front … -

Exciting......always loved the smell of fresh paint.

Doing a swap is not that bad. Just a little more time consuming than swapping out a clutch. The worst part is hanging the pedals under the dash.

true....starting the job correctly that would be the best way to fix it correctly....I have used simple green on mine and it cleaned up the stains very well. The good news is that the black is easy to match if you need to paint.

That would be my first thought. Maybe try a sample on a piece of scrap plastic. I would check it out in the sun before the car. Most of the Sharpees are true black and do not have any purple tint in them. Have touched up furniture with a marker…

How much are you asking for the car?
What type of documentation do you have i.e. window sticker, delivery documents, prior registration info, service records etc??? -
good looking car-- looks like you also have an 84 GT anniversary edition ?

Congrats-- welcome

I have used wesley's bleach white to remove a rust stain on my top. It worked great. Briefly during the winter I layed a snowboard on the roof and there was a rust spot from one of the binding screws the size of a 1/2 dollar. Using an old tooth …

ouch-- any ideas why the driver's door is not faded? looks like it is possibly a repainted door with a clear coat?
Very interesting to see how bad the enamel paint oxidized in the Texas sun. -
nice story-- we just moved back to Texas last year. We are outside of Houston on hwy 290. It is good to see all of the rust free cars here.
-
hey thanks for the kind gesture in posting TWF parts at a reasonable price. Excellent to know there are a few good people left in the car parts world that are not trying to make a fast buck. Glad to see we are taking care of each other in keeping …

the lower air dam looks nice. The best cooling I have seen for these cars are the 3 row radiators made by Modine. I am sure there are others, can't remember the names......

Wow-- good eye. At least the guy was honest about it having a tranny issue when it shifts from 3-4.
On the reserve.....Guessing he has more wrapped up in the paint job than the entire car is worth????

Ouch- hurts just looking at those pictures. I had the same issue back in 93 with an F-150 that had clear coat on the aluminum wheels. I am shocked they are still selling the wheel cleaner. Good luck with the fight.

On the sound of water -- it is normal to hear some water. Check for moisture down behind the back seat and floor boards. My guess is that it was the water that was trapped due to the car sitting on an incline. Also check the trunk well under the …

That looks very close to the gauge cluster that was used on the SN-95's--- having the odometer as an option is a new one on me.

The pinstripes look really good on the 92's--
I have not seen much discussion on the topic of pinstripes. Agree they were all over the board on what types of stripes the feature cars came with. Since there was not an option listed, I a… -
Great looking car--- the wheels really set it apart-
What color is your pinstripe? It is hard to tell from the picture if it is white or grey? -

From the pics the damage does not look that bad. It could have been much worse. The rear quarters are not too horrible to replace-- The door & fender are fairly simple if the damage is not into the rocker panel below the door or into the fire…

If you are looking for the belt molding -- buy the standard black molding and have it painted white. The belt molding is the 1" white molding around the top of the door frame under the window. Same with the door molding-- the only way I hear is…

Wow-- that surprises me that MPS would not help you locate the clips on a salvage car.
Have you been able to find the Ford Part #? wondering if the clips were sold as part of the cable kit while Ford stocked them?
Please sh…
