If I may voice my opinion, I vote for leaving the name as is. I don't see a problem with the site being for all of the 92/93 feature cars, and staying with the established name makes sense for the sake of continuity. In the end though, it's your s…

Parts of my 7-Up Car's interior are doing this also. I believe the only recourse is to paint. The challenge of course, is to get as close a match as possible. I have had success painting the speaker grills in the back seat, and … -
Congratulations!!

I believe I misunderstood which trim you were talking about. I use the 303 on the trim around the top which goes under the boot cover. It's a flat black on the 7-Up Car.
-
It does sound like UV damage. Try 303 Aerospace Protectant on it. I use it on the black trim and the convertible top. Works great!

Thanks for looking after the place for us, John!!
-
Soooo much cheaper to buy a coupe to begin with. I really don't understand why you would want to throw money away to make a coupe out of a convertible, not to mention the fact that it's a fairly rare convertible. In the end, what do you really hav…

For my top, I just use regular car wash solution and a horsehair brush. Dampen the top, and use the brush to agitate the grain of the top to get the dirt out, then flush off with water. After I've finished washing and drying the car, I put a coat …

Wish I could be there. Have fun!!! [B-)]

That explains it. Our highway speeds are a tad lower.
Glad you like the gears!! [B-)] -
You said that your rpms are at 2500 on the highway? What speed is that? Mine is at around 1900 at highway speed. You are in O/D on the highway, aren't you?

Busted!!!!
Glad you like them. One word of advice, especially with a stock AOD. Do not leave the transmission i… -
Still waiting.....
I bet he's still out driving it with a silly grin on his face!! -
The gear change (along with the shift kit of course) woke the car up. The difference is like night and day. Highly recommended!

My 7-Up has the AOD and came with the 2:73s. I ugraded to the 3:73s and at the same time had a TransGo HP shift kit installed. The engine is bone stock other than Motorsport 9mm wires and a K&N filter. I love the combination.

Mine is a 90 7-Up, but it is also an automatic. There is a button on the underside of the steering column to release the key. As others have said, no tilt with the airbag though.
Hope this helps. -
I just checked the 1990 Mustang brochure and it lists "P225/60VR15 unidirectional Goodyear performance tires".

I love the chunk of wood behind the tire.... :?:

In Canada, it's difficult enough finding Mustang brochures. I've never seen the calendars. I actually had to request a brochure on-line this year.

Sweet pictures. Thanks for posting them. Love the blue '10 with the vintage ones.
I like the new design. [B-)] -

I love that guy's work. Too bad he quit cartooning. Thanks for the flashback, John. [B-)] -
I saw that one also. IMHO the internet era has killed what there was left of decent grammer and spelling. I even see some who are PROUD of the fact that their use of the english language is so bad. :?:

It's an interesting article, but for some reason they missed including the 7-Up Cars in with the 92/93 Limited Edition verts.

One of the sites I'm on has the shout box...which unfortunately gets pretty lame at the best of times. Chat only seems to work when there are enough folks around simultaneously to use it.

I'm lucky in that our winters aren't too bad in Victoria. I can usually get the Mustangs out for a good run every three to four weeks. As long as the roads are dry and any salt has been washed away, I like to enjoy the cars. To that end, all I do…

I have no idea.

I used the Trans Go AOD-HP kit. Yes, the transmission will last much better with it. -
You might want to consider having a shift-kit installed in the trans while it is being rebuilt. I had a Trans-Go kit put in mine. It made a huge difference in the fun factor.

No worries....I'm no big fan of the luggage rack either. Ford should have used the same spoiler on the 7s as they did on the later Limited Edition verts in my opinion.
