A little late, but Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the Feature Mustang nuts.

(Quote) That Saleen is one of a very few Saleen 7-Up Cars. Very rare, I believe 10 were converted.
-
Very cool. Another promotional deal between Ford, the raceway and local dealerships.

Winter in Victoria is pretty mild, so I am lucky enough to be able to enjoy my Mustangs year round. As long as the road is dry and free of salt, I get them out. I managed to have the 7-Up Car out for a nice run on it's build date...March 9th.

Merry Christmas from Victoria, British Columbia.

Mine is slightly. I find that waxing it minimizes the stickiness.

Same thing on my 7-Up. I always attributed it to the fact that the paint on the body was clearcoated, and the engine bay was not.

Is there much on the 1990 Limited Edition Mustang (7-Up Car) in the issue? The magazine doesn't seem to get to Canada. I may try to get one from a friend in Seattle.
Thanks. -

Do either of those numbers match the VINs on the 7-Ups? -
Thanks John. I wonder what happened to my link. It was working when I posted it.

I don't know for sure about the seats in the 92 and 93 cars, but the 7-Up Cars have leather only on the seating surfaces. The rest of the seats are vinyl.
The dash should be plastic and the door panels would be vinyl.

If you are putting it on, and the sun is shining, drop the top, and then lay the boot cover over it. Give it a few minutes to warm up and you will find that the vinyl stretches that much easier.

I have repainted a number of pieces in my interior. The rear speaker grills were done after I first bought the car, when it was nine years old. They hadn't yellowed, but were scratched up rather badly. I took my boot cover to a local auto supply …

Nice job!

I saw that yesterday. Kinda hard to tell from the picture, but they look like the ones on my 7-Up. I can't believe he is asking $40. OBO.

Unless you want to keep the magazine whole, the best bet is to pull the staples out of the spline and take the magazine apart. That way you can better cut out the article you want. If you wish to display the individual article with your car, you c…

I'm pretty sure these are the same as the ones on my car. Just did a quick search on eBay. I'll bet there are more out there.

The car...not the pop. -
I bought my 7-Up when it was nine years old, and the splash guards were already on it. They are the black ones with Mustang inprinted on them. I believe they are Ford issue, and I have seen them on eBay and like sites for sale. My previous 91 LX …

I think you forgot something...

I have 17 7-Up Cars registered from Florida. Not too surprising really. [B-)]

When the pump starts to weep, it's usually a sign that it is about to go. I replace them rather than wait.

I made and unexpected score. Just before Christmas, someone locally posted a boot cover and case from a 91 Emerald Green Gt in Oxford White on UsedVictoria. I got it for $50. He had the car for eight years and never put it on. It is as close to …

Yes, I have the 7-Up Registry. There is a link in my signature.

Thanks for the reply. Do they charge extra to do both a PDF and mail?

I just looked up the deluxe report on the Marti site for my 7-Up. I noticed that they want to e-mail the report rather than mailing it. It costs an extra $4 for them to mail it. Any thoughts on getting it as a PDF file?
Thanks. -
The last time I requested this letter from Ford it was still free. That was Dec 2009 and was for my 68 Coupe. I already have one for my 7-Up Car. Are they no longer available from Ford Customer Service?
Please keep us posted John. -
My 7-Up has developed a leak, but only when I wash it. Since it lives in the garage and the leak isn't an issue, I put a couple of towels down to catch the water when I wash. As best I can figure it out, the water comes in at the back two corners.…

And now they are gone.
Been doing some adjustments John?
