Car Collector & Car Classics – January 1994
A special edition on Mustangs! A two page article highlights the 1993 Mustang LX Special Edition Convertibles as "tomorrow’s collectibles". The article mentions that pre-production estimates called for 2500 White and 1500 Yellow to be manufactured. Revised figures at publication were that closer to 1500 white and 1400 yellow cars had been made, although Ford believed those numbers to be accurate within 100 of the ultimate totals. The author notes that shortly after he had the car pictured for review, a Ford executive had the car in NYC where it was stolen and found gutted in the Bronx.
