Autoweek – August 2, 1993
In an article about the relationship between the automobile and the shopping mall, the author takes a 1993 Mustang feature convertible on a drive through the Mall of America. The trip, which took place after closing, involved photo sessions along the way and a meeting with a security guard who was not aware of the visit and made them push the car out of the mall.
The article has a side bar titled “Cruisin’ into the sunset” that contains the usual details on the limited production of the car, pricing and availability. Overall, they liked the car, just complaining about wind noise, a leak that let rain in and the small trunk. But, all of those things mattered little when the top was down!
The article was three pages in length and the pictures within the articles were in black and white.
