I second that. A good cut and polish by a body shop can bring back very dead paint. If you have a few chips and scratches they can airbrush those and blend to match.

Never going to get that price. Only 300 miles in 20 years; the seals will be all dried out and will leak like a sieve. No pics and phone calls only? Give me a break.
At best I see it going for original sticker. -
Welcome. Glad you found your car and the site.
Of the 250 cars registered here about half have the power seat.

g. Sound System: Must be correct Ford radio and sound system for year & model of car. 87-89 and 92 Feature Car only may have equalizer. Comp Prep equipped SVO & Cobra R has radio delete
From the current MCA concourse rules.

The graphic EQ was only a 92 option. MCA judging rules will actualy deduct a point for a 93 that has the EQ. I believe the CD changer was a dealer installed add-on and not available from the factory.
-
The 93 cobra this seller has is already up to 25k and past the reserve. That's about 5k more than new. Factor in the tax, insurance ect and seller still takes a loss.
Goes to show that cars are still never a good investment. Consideri… -
Booked my room for the KC show. Still not sure about Columbus. I may just wait and make up my mind the day of.

Any car is worth what the market will bear at a given time. You may not be willing to pay $15-$20k but obviously some people are. Look at the auction history sorted by price and a small percentage do fetch those prices. That's how the cars worth …

I've got Hagerty w/ a 15k policy. At first they did not want to insure it at all. I had to give them some docs to justify the value. I also had to ask to have a supervisor review the request and finally I threatened to tak… -
Looks like the best this car ever did was back in June for $15,800. I'll bet the reserve is $18,500 now.
Hey John - a field to search the auction history table on seq number would be awesome.
Also, why can't the histor… -
Yea, I've seen this one. I use allofcraigs.com to scan all CL adds from time to time.

The seller on eBay also has a 93 Cobra w/ 6k miles and a newer truck for sale. Makes me think dealer but the history shows one owner.
I emailed the owner and let her know that I would not make a bid today but if the car is still for sal… -

I meant how did you buy a car when you are 9yo? -

Okay, I need to know the rest of that story. -
Hmmm, the Central Mo show was not even on my radar. I'll have to think about making both. We prob would go to KC Friday and spend the night.
-
PPI has them but they aint cheap.
-
We probably will not make it this year. I try to limit my out of state trips to keep the miles low and we are planning on going to the Kansas City club's show this year. Also the Eureka Springs show falls on the same weekend as Rocklahoma and depe…

When I first got insurance for my TW from Haggerty they were reluctant to give me a $15k agreed value policy. I sent them more pics and a link to this site and they reconsiderd and gave me the terms I wanted. Not sure if was the additional info or…

It's been for sale for a while. It origionly belonged to another couple in NC I think and a judge orderd their entire collection sold after thier death. The guy from Fla got it for 11k on eBay and turned right around and put it on his lot. Pretty…

That was the one down in Fla. Auction really was the best way to get the most out of that one. Did this one make it on TV?

I asked the Marti folks if they would ever start making repro belts for the fox bodies and they said prob not. Demand for the repro vintage belts is too low to justify adding fox belts to the mix.
-
PPI and Green Sales have been my goto places for NOS parts. Give them a call and let us know what you find. A lot of parts are not on thier websites so you have to call to be sure.
-
Yea, I'll prob just go w/ a current MC belt.
It depends on the judge and how they read the rules. For instance you can have a current FL1A filter but still get a point or two deducted if it's not the old style embossed filter. Same w/ … -
In your case I would not replace the leather. I would replace the seats and keep your originals some place safe and temp controlled. Your car is so original it would be a crime to put something other than NOS leather in it.

Yes i found a belt but the guy wants too much. $230 is high to save 2 points w/ a used belt. He did offer me a deal on a set of mats and the belt. I'm thinking about but it's still a lot of cash for stuff I don't 'really' need (but want).
apparently according to eBay the YB and YW mats are low hanging fruit.I have a rule of thumb when it comes to doing my self of outsourcing. If it requires a special tool or strict torque specs, I leave it a pro. Otherwise I do it myself. It depends on the judge:
