1990 7-up NADA Value
I was looking at ebay auctions and saw a 1990 7-up listed and the description included a link to NADA pricing. So I followed the link and it was NADA pricing specific for the 7-up convertible. Hmmm.
This was the first I had seen any pricing site/guide break out value for a limited edition feature car. I ran through the site myself and found that “1990 Ford Mustang 2 Door Convertible LX LTD Ed” was indeed a model listed:
Funny that it doesn’t ask for mileage like other models. But, the next screen has the pricing:
This is much different pricing from the standard 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible pricing where you could specify mileage but the two values I ran (30,000 and 30.0) resulted in the same values:
I checked the 1992 and 1993 model years but the situation has not changed – there was no specific breakout for the Limited Editions. Ah, well.
Nice find, Very cool. Hopefully the 92 and 93 option will be avaible soon..

What a difference in value! I guess they finally realized that these rare cars existed.
I contacted Steve Ferguson earlier this year regarding the inclusion of the 92 and 93 Feature Cars in the NADA Used Car Guide. I asked him to check out this website and the history of pricing that John has put together and to possibly come up with values. His email for anyone interested is sferguson@nadaguides.com

92 and 93 5speeds
NADA has had a separate listing for the 7-Up Cars for at least as long as I have had mine, which is mid-1999.
@Ron, you’re always on top of things. Nice information.
@Steve, I suspected that it might have been out there for a while but I didn’t think it had been listed for that long! Thanks.
HEY GUYS, HAVE NOT BEEN AROUND IN A WHILE. WISH I HAD SEEN THE VALUE OF THE 7up CAR BEFORE I SOLD MINE !!!! STILL ENJOYING THE 92 FEATURE . HOPEFULLY THEY WILL INCLUDE THE 92/93 SOON.
TAKE CARE

Hi,
how much are these 7-up cars really worth? I’m looking at one of these cars with 130k miles all original for $4300. Is this worth it? it is a 5sp and the convertible top does not work (I suspect the motor).
Please advice?
thanks
@julio: I see you asked the same question in the forums so if you don’t mind I’ll direct this discussion over there.
