Yes, I sit a good inch or two higher. I wish the seat foam was a little thinner but, alas, I'll have to deal with it.
I did get the stock radio back in it, yes. I got it from a guy on ebay who sells them with an added aux input. Not … -
From what I recall reading on here, the piping originally used isn't made in that size anymore, leaving TMI to use what's available. The pictures of the lights are a bit deceiving. It was taken at dusk and my phone compensated for it but, still, i…

They're pretty easy to fix, actually. The hardest part of the whole operation is getting the upper portion of the rear seat in and out.
The motors themselves are easy to repair. Two or three screws, the cover comes off and then you ca… -
Hm. Good looking seats. I bet they're pretty comfy, too.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have in those seats?

Neat!

What is so hard about replacing it?
Please don't tell me it is one of those things you need to pull the dash to get at. I replaced my heater core earlier this month and I really, really, really don't wanna do that again. -

D'oh!
Also, the Traction-Fox axle might make it all that much more collectable.
It's also a great name for a band, too. -
Hit refresh on the page.
Also, if anyone wants me to, I can go take a look-see at it. I live in STL. -
It shouldn't be tooooo hard to find a nice new cassette case somewhere.

Why so it does...

Hm. Maaaaybe.
Another issue is that the transmission has been a bit noisy as of late. I need to make an appointment to get that looked at if the oil is low which I fear it may be. Leaky tailshaft housing is another problem I've notice… -
I zipped the volume control min/max a few dozen times. No change.
The faders all work properly, it's just something wrong with the volume control. I think USPS didn't treat the box very well. It was a bit... roundish when it arrived.<… -
I have put off looking for a dash for now. I've got other issues to deal with first. Namely... the paint. But, now that that's done, I'm considering getting some paintless dent repair done and then, maybe, get the top replaced.

I've got a bad radio. Damnit!
Amp works fine. EQ works fine. (Tested via plugging my crappy aftermarket radio into the eq/power plugs.
The radio has a serious problem with volume control. I hope th… -
Well, good news and bad news.
The good:
The tape works! Here's the mix:
Side A:
1: My Wild Love. The Doors.
2: There is a Mountain. Donovan.
3: Cecilia. Simon and Garfunkel

Can you appeal the decision?
I've never done any sort of scored show so the process is both fascinating and entirely new to me. -
The mystery connector turned out to be the behind-the-dash connector that is between the amp outputs and the speakers.
The other two plugs check out against the pinouts in my shop manual for both the stereo's power and EQ connections.
Ah hah. I have figured it out. The mystery plug is for the speakers. I found it's mate tucked up behind the glove box and the two are now happily rejoined.
Now I wait with baited breath for my stereo to arrive on Wednesday. Thanks!
It started out with a good wash, then a rubdown with a clay bar, another wash, another quick clay barring and then we attacked it with a buffer and rubbing, then polishing compounds. It still needs a bit more polishing on the pa…That is a radio for a 93 that doesn't appear to be a premium model.I meant for the upper portion of the seat. The two bolts holding it in place are a PITA to get to in my car due to the saggy upholstery.(Quote)
The internals of the OE motors are plastic, too. The outer gear and the three little bushings are plastic and are sacrificial. They're cheaper than replacing a window!
And my gripe with the rear seat is just having to…I, too, have found no dry grease in either of the motors I've taken apart. I'm certain they were untouched until I had to pull them open. I packed them full of grease after cleaning out as much of the old stuff as I could.
As said, it …Haha. I've had to rebuild both of the 1/4 window motors in my car over the past two months. Both of them ate the three little bushings inside. I wish I would have done the driver's side when the passenger side went out. It would've saved me from…Bricktown in OKC is the touristy area of town. There's some good places to eat there but I don't remember any specifics.
